4th of July Weekend

To say 2020 was a year of muted celebrations would be something of an understatement.

While we're not out of the COVID woods just yet, the summer of 2021 is being marked by a return to some semblance of normalcy and that means celebrating the 4th of July with some gusto this year.

The market is your go-to source to get things kicked off this holiday weekend, with everything you need to celebrate in full flavor.

Make a fresh fruit salad full of JenEhr Family Farm's organic blueberries and red and black raspberries from Sai's Garden (pictured). Natalie's Garden & Greenhouse has your lettuce needs covered for burgers or salads with pristine heads right from the fields.

For drinks, whip up a batch of basil lemonade or grab a bottle of Mad Maiden Shrub and try one of the many great NA or adult cocktails listed on their website.

For the main course, the grill is the center of attention and the market has you covered with a great selection of meats from Highland Spring Farm, ParKelm Farm, Bryant Family Farms and more.

Snack away on fresh curd from Farmer Johns' Cheese or grab your favorite block cheese for topping off those burgers. For an extra cheesy treat indulge in some beer cheese, back in stock from McCluskey Brothers' Shillelagh Glen Farms.

As for dessert, it's hard to top the classic fruit topped red, white & blue cake or make things easy on yourself and grab some fresh pastries from Madison Sourdough (pictured), that's assuming there's any room left in those tummies.

We wish you all a safe and fun holiday weekend and are eager to celebrate a little extra this year. It sure feels good to be back at it!

See you at market!
