Crunchy, delicious baby Bok Choi from Blue Moon Community Farm

Sprouting Up

Much like the first opening daffodils in the grass, as soon as market season blooms it begins to grow and spread.

We were grateful to welcome more vendors to the market for week two last Saturday, including Yellow Dog Flowers and their lovely jars of daffodil bouquets (pictured).

Returning vendors expanded shopping options in the form of fresh produce, tasty jams and even savory spice blends, like those offered by The Deliciouser (pictured).

Another exciting return was the first rhubarb of the season from County Line Plants & Produce, with more to come this weekend.

Two weeks in and we seem to be drawing quite the crowd of families for the tasty treats and also the fun music from the Market Ramblers.

If you're looking for a yummy and healthy snack for your little ones, stop by Schroeder Kase and give their drinkable yogurts a try (pictured). Available in a variety of flavors, these on-the-go snacks are always a hit.

With week three coming your way this Saturday, we're very excited to be welcoming back Flyte Family Farms with a great selection of their hot house tomatoes & cucumbers, potatoes, jams, jellies, salsas and frozen organic blueberries.

Look for more flowers, produce and delicious options this weekend as we have our final market of April. Don't blink, before long we'll have grown up all around you.

See you at the market!

As a reminder to everyone, dogs are prohibited within the market area, though we welcome service animals at all times.

FoodShare/EBT Service Temporarily Down

Unfortunately our FoodShare equipment is out of commission for a few weeks, meaning we will be unable to issue new FoodShare Dollars at this time. We're hoping to be back up in running by mid-May and before the Double Dollars program returns in June. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Any unspent dollars from the previous season can still be used with our vendors.

Vendor Notices

West Star Organics & Savory Accents will be absent from the market this Saturday, April 26th. They both plan to return the following week.
